  • Are The Blessed, Cursed?

Understanding the hidden mechanics of blessing, cursing, and spiritual exchange. Many believers experience blessing yet simultaneously battle invisible resistance, cycles, or misalignment they cannot explain. This teaching exposes the spiritual mechanics behind blessing and cursing, how unseen agreements affect destiny, and why a lack of understanding leads many into battles they were never meant to fight. It brings clarity to spiritual laws that govern increase, protection, and the manifestation of divine favor. These study notes are drawn from the message “Are the Blessed, Cursed?” preached by Prophet Lovy Elias on 14 December 2022. Study Notes 1. Understanding the Origin of Curses A curse is the absence of empowerment. A curse is when the ability to progress is removed. A curse operates where divine assistance is withheld. A curse manifests when something that should work no longer works. A curse comes into effect when a spiritual law has been violated. A curse reveals that something in the spiritual realm has been broken. A curse exposes that a structure meant to sustain destiny has collapsed. A curse is not simply misfortune; it is a spiritual condition. A curse is the manifestation of a spiritual verdict. A curse is activated by disobedience to divine order. 2. The Misconception About Being Blessed Yet Struggling Many people think blessing means the absence of challenges. Blessing does not cancel the existence of spiritual laws. A blessed person can still struggle if spiritual principles are ignored. Blessing without knowledge leads to unnecessary battles. A person may be blessed but bound by spiritual agreements they do not understand. Blessing gives potential, but understanding unlocks manifestation. Many believers live beneath their blessing because of ignorance. It is possible to carry blessing and still experience resistance. Blessing does not automatically fix broken foundations. Blessing must be aligned with spiritual order to function fully. 3. How Curses Enter a Person’s Life Curses enter through agreement. Agreement creates spiritual access points. Words can create agreement with blessing or cursing. Environments carry agreements that influence those who dwell in them. Family patterns reveal long-standing agreements. Culture can carry agreements that produce cycles. Trauma can create internal agreements that attract bondage. Disobedience activates negative spiritual mechanisms. Rebellion creates openings for spiritual interference. Ignorance produces unintentional agreements with the wrong spiritual forces. 4. The Nature of Blessing as a Spiritual Force Blessing is empowerment to prosper. Blessing is God’s breath placed upon someone to advance them. Blessing creates supernatural advantage. Blessing produces increase without strain. Blessing overrides natural limitation. Blessing multiplies what is placed into divine hands. Blessing brings acceleration in seasons of stagnation. Blessing carries the energy of divine intention. Blessing is a spiritual mantle that alters outcomes. Blessing manifests through obedience, alignment, and understanding. 5. Why Some Blessed People Still Live Like the Cursed Failure to understand spiritual laws makes blessing ineffective. Blessing must be activated through obedience. Blessing cannot function in an environment of rebellion. Blessing is hindered by internal conflict. Blessing is limited when the person carries self-imposed curses. Blessing requires agreement to manifest fully. Blessing cannot operate where there is disbelief. Blessing becomes stagnant when the person resists divine instruction. Blessing without spiritual discipline produces instability. Blessing must be stewarded to overcome negative patterns. 6. How Blessing and Cursing Operate Through Spiritual Systems Blessing functions through spiritual systems that heaven has established. A spiritual system determines how blessing flows and how cursing is activated. Systems remain consistent whether a person understands them or not. A person may unknowingly activate a negative system by violating divine structure. Spiritual systems respond to obedience and disobedience. Blessing is maintained when a person remains inside the correct spiritual system. Curses are triggered when someone steps outside divine order. Every spiritual system has rules, boundaries, and protocols. Those who walk against divine systems experience resistance. Those who align with divine systems experience acceleration. 7. Agreement as the Gatekeeper of Spiritual Experience Agreement determines what can operate in a person’s life. Agreement is a doorway that allows spiritual forces to function. Blessing requires agreement to manifest. A curse also requires agreement to function. Agreement can be formed through words spoken knowingly or unknowingly. Agreement can be formed through emotions that embrace negativity. Agreement can be formed through decisions that contradict divine instruction. Agreement is powerful because it binds the spirit to a specific result. Agreement forms spiritual contracts that influence destiny. Agreement must be broken if the results are destructive. 8. How Environments Reinforce Blessing or Cursing Environments carry spiritual climates that shape outcomes. A good environment nurtures blessing. A contaminated environment reinforces cursing. Environments can host spiritual influences that affect behavior. Environments can attract patterns that repeat themselves. People adapt to the spiritual atmosphere of where they live. A person may struggle because their environment contradicts their blessing. Environments can be designed to limit or advance destiny. Spiritual growth requires environments aligned with God’s intention. The wrong environment suffocates divine potential. 9. Self-Inflicted Curses and Internal Agreements Many curses are self-inflicted through negative declarations. Words spoken against oneself create internal bondage. Embracing fear opens the door to negative cycles. Harboring bitterness creates a spiritual blockage. Self-rejection invites destructive outcomes. Internal vows made during pain become spiritual agreements. Trauma produces internal narratives that contradict blessing. Negative self-identity becomes a curse when embraced. Repeating destructive patterns reinforces internal bondage. Freedom begins when internal agreements are confronted. 10. Generational Patterns and Inherited Agreements Generational patterns reveal long-standing spiritual agreements. Families can carry blessings across generations. Families can also carry curses across generations. Patterns repeat because agreements have not been broken. Inherited struggles reveal inherited agreements. Family cycles show spiritual mechanisms passed down unknowingly. Generational issues cannot be solved by effort alone. Blessing must be activated to override generational cursing. Understanding breaks the ignorance that sustains family cycles. Divine alignment resets generational systems. 11. The Spiritual Law of Replacement Something must be removed before something greater can be established. A curse must be uprooted before blessing can flourish. Replacement is a divine law that governs transition. When the old system is dismantled, the new system can take effect. Blessing cannot rest on foundations built on fear. God replaces destructiveness with divine structure. Replacement is necessary to break long-standing patterns. Every spiritual replacement requires intentional agreement. Something must leave for something spiritual to enter. Replacement is a divine exchange that resets destiny. 12. The Power of Spiritual Identity Identity determines which spiritual forces respond to you. A false identity attracts battles that do not belong to you. Many people fight curses that do not originate from them but from the identity they embraced. A wrong identity becomes a gateway for spiritual interference. Blessing manifests fully when identity aligns with divine purpose. Identity confusion produces spiritual instability. Identity must be rooted in truth to withstand attack. Misalignment of identity weakens spiritual authority. Identity reveals the nature of the spiritual realm operating around you. Restoration of identity restores spiritual capability. 13. The Role of Obedience in Activating Blessing Blessing is connected to obedience. Obedience opens the pathway for blessing to manifest. Disobedience interrupts divine flow. Obedience creates agreement with heaven’s intention. Blessing responds to alignment, not emotion. Obedience dismantles systems that sustain cursing. Obedience makes the spirit sensitive to divine instruction. Obedience breaks cycles of delay. Obedience positions the believer to receive divine increase. Blessing follows those who follow instruction. 14. How Ignorance Sustains Curses Ignorance allows cursing to operate undetected. Ignorance prevents discernment of spiritual patterns. Ignorance blinds the believer to systems working against them. Lack of knowledge makes blessing difficult to manifest. Many people remain stuck because they do not understand spiritual rules. Ignorance creates vulnerability to manipulation. Knowledge exposes the source of spiritual interference. Ignorance preserves family patterns that need to be broken. Knowledge empowers the believer to uproot negative agreements. Understanding destroys the foundation of cursing. 15. Blessing as a Warfare Strategy Blessing is a spiritual weapon. Blessing dismantles opposition by elevating the believer. The enemy fights blessing because it shifts spiritual authority. Blessing intimidates spiritual darkness. Blessing reveals the power of divine alignment. Blessing breaks cycles of stagnation. Blessing exposes the weakness of demonic systems. Blessing brings supernatural acceleration. Blessing transforms the believer’s environment. Blessing overturns verdicts released by cursing. 16. The Blessing and the Law of Elevation Blessing lifts the believer into a higher spiritual position. Elevation exposes what was hidden at lower levels. Elevation separates the believer from cycles that once held them. Elevation shifts the battles faced because the believer is no longer on the same level. Blessing promotes the believer into environments where cursing cannot operate. Elevation forces spiritual adversaries to retreat. Elevation reveals the believer’s true capacity. Blessing carries elevation that redefines destiny. Position determines which spiritual forces respond to you. Elevation is a manifestation of blessing at work. 17. The Purpose of Blessing in Spiritual Warfare Blessing is meant to empower destiny, not merely comfort the believer. Blessing is designed to break cycles of defeat. Blessing is a shield against spiritual interference. Blessing realigns the believer with divine strategy. Blessing pushes the believer into divine movement. Blessing is a declaration to the spiritual realm that darkness has lost its place. Blessing gives heavenly authorization to advance. Blessing is not passive; it is confrontational in the spirit. Blessing establishes victory before the battle begins. Blessing proves the believer’s spiritual ownership. 18. Breaking Agreements That Oppose Blessing Agreements must be confronted before they can be broken. A person cannot break what they refuse to identify. Breaking agreements requires renouncing what was embraced. Renouncing negative agreements removes spiritual access points. Breaking agreements shuts the door to generational influences. Freedom begins when destructive agreements are rejected. Divine alignment begins when new agreements are formed. Agreement with blessing must replace agreement with cursing. Breaking agreements resets spiritual authority. A shift in agreement produces a shift in outcome. 19. Establishing New Alignments With the Blessing New alignment requires intentional agreement with God’s order. Alignment gives heaven the legal right to intervene. Alignment activates dormant blessing. Alignment repairs what rebellion damaged. New alignment repositions the believer for divine manifestation. Alignment strengthens spiritual foundations. Alignment opens new pathways of increase. Alignment closes the door to previous cycles. Alignment builds a new environment for destiny. Blessing thrives where alignment is established. 20. Manifestation of Blessing After Curses Are Broken Once a curse is uprooted, blessing begins to manifest. Manifestation appears first in the spirit before it appears in the natural. Signs of manifestation include clarity, peace, and movement. Blessing restores what was delayed. Blessing brings stability where instability once ruled. Blessing produces opportunities that were previously blocked. Blessing draws divine connections. Blessing restructures the believer’s environment. Blessing confirms that spiritual bondage has been dismantled. Manifestation is evidence that alignment is complete. 21. The Ongoing Maintenance of Blessing Blessing must be maintained through obedience. Blessing must be maintained through understanding. Blessing must be maintained through spiritual discipline. Blessing can diminish if spiritual order is abandoned. Maintenance requires continual agreement with divine truth. Maintenance requires protecting the heart. Maintenance requires guarding words spoken. Maintenance requires staying connected to divine instruction. Blessing grows when properly maintained. Maintenance prevents regression into old patterns. 22. The Final Revelation: Blessed People Are Not Cursed A blessed person is not cursed, but they can host opposing agreements. Blessing cannot be canceled, but it can be resisted. Curses collapse when blessing is understood. Blessing overrides negative systems when properly aligned. The blessed must understand the mechanics of blessing. Blessing is stronger than cursing. Cursing loses its power when truth is embraced. The blessed must walk in the knowledge of their divine identity. When blessing and alignment meet, destiny becomes unstoppable. The blessed are empowered to manifest God's intention fully. • 12 Keys To Dreaming

Unlocking spiritual pathways to receive and understand divine dreams. Dreaming is not accidental. It is part of the spiritual design through which God communicates, reveals, warns, and imparts destiny. This teaching unveils the foundations that make a believer spiritually receptive to dreams, the internal postures that open the realm of night visions, and the conditions that determine whether dreams are divine, soulish, or influenced by external forces. These study notes are based on the message “12 Keys to Dreaming,” preached by Prophet Lovy Elias on 6 April 2025. Study Notes 1. Key One — The Heart Must Be Quiet Dreams are spiritual communication, so the heart must be in a state of peace. Turmoil in the heart disrupts the ability to receive dreams. A heart filled with fear cannot enter the realm of vision. Quietness creates the space for the spirit to receive. Anxiety blocks the flow of revelation. The heart must be still enough to become a canvas God can write on. If the heart is too busy, dreams will be faint or distorted. Peace increases dream clarity. God speaks clearly when the inner environment is calm. A quiet heart allows the spirit to ascend at night. 2. Key Two — The Mind Must Be Renewed A renewed mind becomes sensitive to spiritual communication. Dreams are often filtered through the mind, so the mind must be purified. A mind filled with negativity will distort what is shown. A mind filled with fear will interpret dreams incorrectly. The mind must be disciplined to resist intrusive thoughts. Clarity of mind reveals clarity of dreams. The mind must be free of noise to receive spiritual pictures. Meditation on God’s Word renews the mind for dreaming. A renewed mind increases dream recall. The mind must align with the spirit for dreams to make sense. 3. Key Three — The Environment Must Carry Peace The environment affects spiritual sensitivity. Chaotic environments create chaotic dreams. The place where you sleep must be peaceful. The atmosphere of your room influences the realm of dreams. Spiritual clutter creates interference in dreaming. Darkness in the environment attracts confusing dreams. Peace in the environment attracts divine dreams. Holiness in the environment makes the spirit receptive. Spiritual purity in the room enhances dream clarity. The environment sets the tone for what the spirit can receive at night. 4. Key Four — The Body Must Be at Rest The body influences how the spirit ascends at night. If the body is exhausted, the spirit will struggle to engage the dream realm. Physical rest prepares the spiritual faculties for activity. Fatigue weakens dream recall. A restless body interrupts spiritual encounters. The body must be relaxed for the spirit to rise freely. Overstimulation before sleep affects the purity of dreams. Proper sleep patterns strengthen spiritual sensitivity. The body must not be in distress for dreams to flow properly. The condition of the body determines how deep the spirit can travel. 5. Key Five — The Spirit Must Be Fed A starving spirit struggles to receive divine communication. The spirit must be nourished by the Word. The more the spirit is fed, the more it receives visions and dreams. If the spirit is weak, dreams will be inconsistent. Spiritual nourishment sharpens vision in the night. A fed spirit interprets dreams correctly. Feeding the spirit increases dream frequency. Revelation flows through a strong spirit. Weakness of spirit leads to soulish dreams. Spiritual feeding prepares the dream realm for clarity. 6. Key Six — Sensitivity to the Holy Spirit Sensitivity determines how much the Holy Spirit can reveal at night. The Holy Spirit uses dreams to guide, warn, prepare, and instruct. Sensitivity makes the believer aware of spiritual movement. A desensitized spirit will dismiss divine dreams. Sensitivity sharpens spiritual sight. Dreams become clearer when the believer listens to the Holy Spirit during the day. Sensitivity invites divine dreams. The Holy Spirit activates symbolic language in dreams. Sensitivity increases dream interpretation accuracy. The more the believer yields, the more the Spirit reveals. 7. Key Seven — The Dreamer Must Value Dreams Dreams increase when the dreamer values them. What is not valued will not multiply. If dreams are treated as insignificant, the spirit will not retain them. Value creates expectation, and expectation opens the door to revelation. Honoring dreams attracts more dreams. Value trains the spirit to pay attention. When dreams are valued, recall improves. Treating dreams casually weakens spiritual perception. Value transforms dreams from random events into divine communication. God invests revelation where there is value. 8. Key Eight — Purity of Imagination Imagination is the bridge between the spirit and the dream realm. A corrupted imagination attracts corrupted dreams. Purity cleans the screen of the imagination. The imagination must be free from dark influences. What the imagination dwells on becomes part of dream language. Purity strengthens the symbols used by the spirit. Impurity produces mixture in dreams. A pure imagination allows dreams to carry divine accuracy. Darkness in the imagination opens the door to counterfeit dreams. Purity refines the messages received at night. 9. Key Nine — Guarding the Gates The eyes, ears, and mind are gates that influence dreams. What enters the gates during the day becomes material for the night. Exposure to fear produces fearful dreams. Exposure to impurity produces impure dreams. Guarded gates create clarity in dreams. Unprotected gates create confusion in dreams. The dreamer must be intentional about what is allowed into the heart. Spiritual gates determine the type of revelation received. Guarding the gates protects the dream realm from intrusion. Purity of gates prepares the spirit for divine encounters. 10. Key Ten — The Dreamer Must Live in Truth Truth protects the dream realm from deception. A lying spirit attracts lying dreams. Truth aligns the dreamer with the nature of God. Living in truth sharpens discernment within dreams. Deception weakens spiritual awareness. Truth strengthens the clarity of symbols. The spirit cannot receive divine dreams while walking in falsehood. Truth stabilizes the interpretation of dreams. Truth opens the way for revelation. Truth purifies the atmosphere of the inner man. 11. Key Eleven — The Dreamer Must Walk in Light Light exposes the works of darkness that interfere with dreaming. Darkness creates confusion in the dream realm. Light removes spiritual pollution. Walking in light keeps the heart open to divine communication. Light strengthens the ability to discern spiritual meaning. Darkness twists the images shown in dreams. Light brings alignment with heaven’s frequency. A life in the light attracts angelic communication. Light brings order to the night visions. Walking in light makes the dream realm safe. 12. Key Twelve — The Dreamer Must Seek Interpretation Dreams without interpretation remain incomplete. Interpretation gives purpose to the dream. Seeking interpretation honors the message delivered. Interpretation turns revelation into instruction. The spirit must be trained to understand dream language. Interpretation prevents misapplication of dreams. Without interpretation, the dreamer may respond incorrectly. Interpretation transforms symbolic messages into spiritual strategies. Seeking interpretation increases the appearance of dreams. Interpretation reveals the full intention behind the dream. Scripture References 1. • The Need For The Prophetic

Why believers require divine sight to navigate spiritual realities. The prophetic is not an accessory to spiritual life—it is a necessity. Without divine sight, believers navigate life with partial understanding, limited perception, and incomplete strategies. This teaching exposes why the prophetic is essential, how spiritual blindness affects decisions, and why God designed His people to walk with insight, vision, and supernatural perspective. These study notes are based on the message “The Need for the Prophetic,” preached by Prophet Lovy Elias on 7 August 2023. Study Notes 1. The Importance of Spiritual Sight The prophetic is the ability to see what others cannot see. Without sight, people live by reaction instead of revelation. Spiritual blindness makes people move without understanding. Many believers walk according to natural senses instead of spiritual senses. Sight determines direction; direction determines destiny. • A Bruised Spirit

Understanding the spiritual impact of inner wounds. The inner life of a believer carries scars, pressures, and unspoken battles that shape how one walks with God. This teaching exposes the reality of a bruised spirit, how it forms, how it affects spiritual perception, and how God responds when the inner man is struck, pressured, or wounded below the surface. These study notes are drawn from the message “A Bruised Spirit,” preached by Prophet Lovy Elias on 14 July 2022 . Study Notes 1. Understanding What a Bruised Spirit Is A bruise is an internal injury that is not immediately visible on the surface. When the spirit is bruised, the injury is not in the body but in the inner man. A bruised spirit affects how a person sees, hears, and responds. The spirit can be bruised by words, actions, betrayals, disappointments, or spiritual attacks. A bruise weakens the spirit’s capacity to stand strong. A bruised spirit is different from a broken spirit, because a bruise comes from impact while brokenness comes from surrender. A bruise is not surrender; it is damage. A bruised spirit makes the inner man sensitive, reactive, or unstable. A bruise can grow deeper when it is ignored. A bruise in the spirit affects every other part of the person. 2. How Bruising Happens in the Spirit The spirit can be bruised through relationships. The spirit can be bruised through rejection. The spirit can be bruised through betrayal. The spirit can be bruised through disappointment. The spirit can be bruised when expectations are not met. The spirit can be bruised when trust is violated. The spirit can be bruised through spiritual wounds that come from authority figures. The spirit can be bruised when one is attacked spiritually without defense. The spirit can be bruised by repeated negative experiences. A bruise happens when something hits the spirit with force that it was not prepared for. 3. The Effects of a Bruised Spirit on a Person A bruised spirit affects decision-making. A bruised spirit affects how one interprets situations. A bruised spirit produces overreactions to small things. A bruised spirit causes the person to misread intentions. A bruised spirit makes every correction feel like an attack. A bruised spirit makes encouragement sound like pressure. A bruised spirit interferes with discernment. A bruised spirit weakens spiritual stability. A bruised spirit makes the person withdraw or isolate. A bruised spirit affects confidence in God and in self. 4. The Difference Between a Bruised Spirit and a Broken Spirit A bruised spirit is internal damage; a broken spirit is spiritual surrender. A bruised spirit leads to instability; a broken spirit leads to humility. A bruised spirit makes the person defensive; a broken spirit makes the person open. A bruised spirit creates fear; a broken spirit creates dependence on God. A bruised spirit looks inward at pain; a broken spirit looks upward toward God. A bruised spirit interprets everything through hurt; a broken spirit interprets through surrender. A bruised spirit needs healing; a broken spirit needs filling. A bruised spirit resists; a broken spirit yields. A bruised spirit remembers offense; a broken spirit releases it. A bruised spirit limits growth; a broken spirit prepares the heart for growth. 5. A bruised spirit produces inconsistency. A bruised spirit causes the person to sabotage relationships. A bruised spirit makes someone pull away when they are supposed to draw near. A bruised spirit leads to spiritual confusion. A bruised spirit makes the person misinterpret spiritual signals. A bruised spirit produces offense quickly. A bruised spirit causes someone to take things personally that were not personal. A bruised spirit makes movement difficult because the inner man is tender and reactive. 6. Feeling attacked when corrected reveals bruising. Assuming negative intentions reveals bruising. Struggling to celebrate others reveals bruising. 9. The Connection Between Memory and a Bruised Spirit The spirit remembers more deeply than the mind. The memory of the spirit affects the choices of the soul. A bruise in the spirit keeps replaying the pain of the initial impact. The spirit can replay conversations long after they happen. The bruise becomes a reference point for new experiences. The bruise influences reactions before thought. The bruise shapes interpretation of present events. The bruise affects hope and expectation. The bruise can block spiritual joy. God heals through corrected perception. God heals through time spent in His presence. God heals through removing the weight of past pain. 15. The Role of Surrender in Healing a Bruised Spirit Healing begins when the bruise is acknowledged. Healing begins when the person stops pretending to be strong. Healing begins when the inner pain is exposed to God. Healing begins when the person stops hiding behind defense mechanisms. Healing begins when the person yields the injured part to God. Healing begins when the person stops carrying what God should carry. Healing begins when the person lets God minister to the bruise. Healing begins when the person accepts truth over feelings. Healing begins when the person releases the memory of the impact. Healing begins when surrender meets divine compassion. 16. The Need for Alignment During Healing Healing requires alignment with God’s truth. Healing requires agreement with what God says about you. Healing requires rejecting the lies formed through the bruise. Healing requires letting God redefine the situation. Healing requires learning to see through God’s eyes. Healing requires silence before reaction. Healing requires allowing God to confront the wounded area. Healing requires trusting God with vulnerability. Healing requires consistency in God’s presence. Some people refuse correction that would lead to healing. Some people cling to the identity shaped by the bruise. Some people misinterpret healing as weakness. Some people fear who they will become without the bruise. Some people do not expose the bruise to God. 18. How to Open the Spirit for Healing Healing comes by telling God the truth about how you feel. Healing comes by admitting you were hurt. Healing comes by letting go of pride. Healing comes by forgiving the source of the bruise. Healing comes by surrendering the memory of the impact. Healing comes by seeing yourself through God’s eyes. Healing comes by letting the Holy Spirit minister to the wound. Healing comes by allowing God to touch the sensitive areas. Healing comes by trusting God’s method. • A Broken Spirit

The posture God never despises. There are moments when human strength is not enough, when the inner life reaches a point of collapse that exposes the deepest parts of the heart before God. This teaching reveals what it truly means to carry a broken spirit, how God responds to it, and why this posture becomes a gateway to restoration, elevation, and divine intimacy. These study notes are based on the message “A Broken Spirit,” preached by Prophet Lovy Elias on 18 January 2023 . Study Notes 1. The Nature of Spiritual Hunger and Desperation Many people are desperate, but desperation is not the same as hunger. Hunger causes pursuit; desperation causes panic. Panic does not produce spiritual results. Hunger is what attracts God. You have to understand the difference between hunger and desperation. Hunger produces consistency. Desperation produces emotional highs and lows. Some people seek God because of emergency situations, not hunger. When the emergency passes, they stop seeking Him. Hunger makes you stay. God responds to hunger more than desperation. 2. The Foundation of a Broken Spirit A broken spirit is not the same as being emotionally broken. A broken spirit is not depression. God does not desire for you to walk around sad. A broken spirit is a spiritual posture, not an emotional condition. A broken spirit is the awareness of your insufficiency without God. A broken spirit is the recognition that you cannot do anything without Him. This posture allows God to come close. This brokenness is what God requires for certain spiritual dimensions. God resists the proud but comes near the lowly. When the spirit is broken, the soul becomes accessible to God. God does not despise a broken and contrite heart. 3. How God Evaluates the Posture of the Heart God looks at posture, not performance. God looks at intention, not activity. God looks at alignment, not appearance. Many people do things for God with the wrong posture of heart. You can serve God with the wrong heart posture and receive no reward. God accepts offerings based on posture, not quantity. Cain gave something; Abel gave with the right posture. God sees the attitude behind the action. God sees whether what you do is truly unto Him. God weighs the heart before He weighs the offering. 4. The Break That God Requires Some things in you must break before God can entrust you with certain things. God cannot elevate someone who is still full of themselves. Some people want God to use them, but their hearts are not yielded. Brokenness is a prerequisite for certain levels of grace. God visited people in Scripture after they were broken. Jacob became Israel after the breaking. Peter became the rock after breaking. Paul became useful after breaking. Brokenness exposes the areas that resist God. Brokenness allows God to remove what stands in the way. 5. The Difference Between a Broken Spirit and a Wounded Heart A wounded heart is damage; a broken spirit is surrender. A wounded heart needs healing; a broken spirit needs filling. A wounded heart produces bitterness if not healed. A broken spirit produces dependence on God. A wounded heart looks at pain; a broken spirit looks at God. A wounded heart says “I have been hurt”; a broken spirit says “I need You.” A broken spirit is not weakness; it is strength in surrender. God heals the wounded heart but fills the broken spirit. You cannot be filled if you are not empty. Brokenness is the gateway to divine filling. 6. What Brings God Close God is close to the broken-hearted. God draws near to those who recognize their need for Him. God cannot stay away from someone who is truly yielded. God is attracted to surrender. A broken spirit is irresistible to God. God fills what is empty. God lifts what bows low. God responds to genuine humility. God sees the posture of those who cry out to Him. God cannot ignore a contrite heart. 7. The Spiritual Law of Emptiness and Filling God cannot fill what is already full. Some people are full of their own opinions and want God to fit in. God cannot pour into a vessel that refuses to be emptied. Emptiness is not lack; emptiness is availability. God fills those who make room for Him. Making room for God is spiritual intelligence. Those who hunger and thirst are the ones who are filled. A broken spirit creates internal space for divine filling. God measures how much He can pour based on how much room you make. God entrusts more to those who carry spiritual emptiness. 8. The Barriers That Prevent Brokenness Pride is one of the strongest barriers to brokenness. Pride hides behind capability. Pride disguises itself as confidence. Pride tells you that you can do without God. Pride makes you compare yourself to others. Pride makes you justify your weaknesses. Pride closes the heart. Pride hinders learning. Pride blocks impartation. Pride stops the flow of grace. 9. What True Surrender Looks Like True surrender is giving up control. True surrender is yielding without conditions. True surrender does not negotiate with God. True surrender trusts even when understanding is limited. True surrender gives God access to every part of the heart. True surrender is not partial. True surrender is not convenient. True surrender is consistent obedience. True surrender is willingness to be corrected. True surrender is the doorway to spiritual elevation. 10. How God Breaks a Person God breaks through circumstances that confront your strength. God breaks through encounters that expose your limits. God breaks through seasons that reveal dependence. God breaks through moments that dismantle pride. God breaks through situations that force you to look to Him. God breaks to build. God breaks to form. God breaks to position. God breaks to prepare. God breaks the outer shell so the inner man can rise. 11. The Purpose of Divine Breaking Breaking is the beginning of molding. Breaking removes false identities. Breaking removes self-reliance. Breaking reveals who you are without God. Breaking reveals who you can be with God. Breaking prepares you for deeper encounters. Breaking positions you for greater assignments. Breaking makes you sensitive to the Spirit. Breaking makes you compassionate toward others. Breaking reshapes you into God’s intended vessel. 12. The Spirit vs. the Soul in Brokenness The spirit is where submission happens. The soul is where emotions react. Emotional collapse is not spiritual brokenness. Emotional pain cannot produce spiritual fruits. The soul must be quiet for the spirit to rise. The spirit responds to God; the soul responds to circumstances. God deals with the spirit before dealing with the soul. Brokenness begins in the spirit and flows outward. When the spirit is yielded, the soul finds rest. When the spirit is broken, the soul finds healing. 13. The Signs of a Truly Broken Spirit A broken spirit does not fight correction. A broken spirit listens before reacting. A broken spirit does not justify itself. A broken spirit accepts truth even when it hurts. A broken spirit apologizes without excuses. A broken spirit forgives quickly. A broken spirit lets go of pride. A broken spirit is teachable. A broken spirit is patient in affliction. A broken spirit is quick to return to God. 14. Why God Cannot Reject a Broken Spirit A broken spirit is aligned with heaven. A broken spirit reflects the heart posture God desires. A broken spirit creates a dwelling place for God. A broken spirit opens the door for mercy. A broken spirit removes the resistance God hates. A broken spirit prepares the ground for grace. A broken spirit produces obedience. A broken spirit produces faithfulness. A broken spirit produces spiritual stability. A broken spirit produces intimacy with God. 15. Brokenness as an Offering God Accepts God does not reject a broken offering. God looks for brokenness before sacrifice. God accepted David’s broken heart before his worship. God accepted Jonah’s surrendered heart before his mission. God accepted Moses’ humility before his assignment. God accepted Hannah’s brokenness before answering her prayer. God accepts offerings that rise from contrition. God receives worship that comes from surrender. God honors prayers that flow from brokenness. God moves when the heart is postured low. 16. How Brokenness Attracts Divine Attention Heaven responds to humility. Brokenness shifts spiritual atmospheres. Angels are drawn to surrendered vessels. Brokenness activates divine intervention. Brokenness is the spiritual fragrance God smells. Brokenness rises like incense before God. Brokenness invites heavenly assistance. Brokenness commands spiritual visitation. Brokenness signals readiness for transformation. Brokenness opens the heavens for direction. 17. Why Some People Never Enter Brokenness Some people think brokenness is weakness. Some people think surrender is loss. Some people fear letting go of control. Some people protect their pride more than their purpose. Some people avoid environments that challenge them. Some people associate brokenness with shame. Some people misinterpret correction. Some people misunderstand spiritual submission. Some people value comfort over growth. Some people resist the process that leads to elevation. 18. The Relationship Between Brokenness and Access Brokenness gives you access to realms you cannot enter through gifting. Brokenness opens doors that talents cannot open. Brokenness accelerates spiritual growth. Brokenness gives you access to the heart of God. Brokenness gives you access to divine secrets. Brokenness gives you access to spiritual authority. Brokenness gives you access to revelation. Brokenness gives you access to uncommon grace. Brokenness gives you access to spiritual inheritance. Brokenness gives you access to divine alignment. 19. How God Restores the Broken Spirit God restores through comfort. God restores through revelation. God restores through instruction. God restores through encounter. God restores through community. God restores through spiritual nourishment. God restores through quietness and trust. God restores through the Word. God restores through the Holy Spirit. God restores through renewed purpose. 20. Brokenness and Worship Worship flows naturally from brokenness. Worship becomes deeper when the spirit is yielded. Worship becomes authentic after breaking. Worship becomes a response instead of a performance. Worship becomes a place of healing. Worship becomes a place of transformation. Worship becomes a place of divine exchange. Worship becomes a place where God speaks. Worship becomes a place of spiritual realignment. Worship becomes a place where identity is restored. 21. How Brokenness Produces Transformation Brokenness changes the way you see God. Brokenness changes the way you see yourself. Brokenness changes the way you respond to challenges. Brokenness changes the way you treat others. Brokenness changes your priorities. Brokenness changes your spiritual appetite. Brokenness changes your capacity for obedience. Brokenness changes your emotional responses. Brokenness changes your spiritual discernment. Brokenness changes everything connected to your purpose. 22. The Final Call to Brokenness Brokenness is not seasonal; it is continual. Brokenness is not emotional collapse; it is spiritual surrender. Brokenness is not weakness; it is strength under God. Brokenness is the doorway into the deeper life. Brokenness keeps you aligned with God. Brokenness protects you from pride. Brokenness maintains spiritual hunger. Brokenness sustains intimacy with God. Brokenness shapes your destiny. Brokenness positions you for God’s best. • Overcoming Princes of Demons

Understanding the unseen hierarchy that influences mankind. Spiritual realities often remain hidden from the natural eye, yet they shape patterns, behaviors, and outcomes in the lives of people. This teaching opens the curtains wide, revealing how different classes of spirits function, how they influence humanity, why discernment is essential, and how believers must posture themselves in a world filled with both visible and invisible forces. This article is a comprehensive set of study notes based on the YouTube message “Overcoming the Princes of Demons,” preached by Prophet Lovy Elias on 21 July 2024. Study Notes 1. Introduction to the Teaching The Lord Jesus is Lord. May his name be glorified. I pray that you will be blessed tremendously with what we’re going to learn today. Today we are going to study something extremely important. There are different kind of demons. Demons and devils, we use the words interchangeably, but they actually aren’t the same thing. 2. Understanding the Diversity of Spirits Spirits are not made equally. Every spirit is different. Not all evil spirits are handled the same. When I’m using the word evil spirit, I’m using a blanket statement to refer to all that is of the devil. If a spirit is evil, it is not a matter of how it was created, but a matter of the nature that it has adapted. Sometimes we cast out spirits of men out of other men. If you have not been acquainted with spiritual things personally, you will not understand certain things that scripture says. 3. Human Spirits and the Concept of Ghosts When the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying it is a spirit. The word ghost means human spirit. If you just say spirit, what spirit are you referring to? Because God is also a spirit. When you say a ghost, now you are separating; you are identifying what kind of spirit it is. There are haunted houses; these are not even spiritual people saying this — they are salespeople mandated by law to disclose if someone died in a house. People who know nothing about spirituality will tell you that is a demon — no, that’s not a demon. A demon looks for a house to occupy; demons don’t want to live in a house. 4. Spirits of the Dead and Cultural Observations In my father’s culture, they truly believe that when somebody passed away, they would take the family through rituals. Part of those rituals is speaking to the spirit of the dead person because they know after 40 days the spirit of the person has to leave the earth. When you die, you don’t just leave the earth; your spirit is here for 40 days. Every culture in the world, even those not Christian, knows this truth. Some spirits don’t rest. That’s why we say Rest in Peace — it is a message to the dead person, not to you. Some people don’t rest. You can buy a house and there is no rest in it. 5. Spirits That Become Evil There are influences of human spirits also. These spirits become evil in nature especially if people died or were murdered or something that they still cannot rest in peace. Some spirits remain behind. Some spirits try to live their life through somebody. It is an evil spirit trying to relive its true power. 6. Broader Categories of Spiritual Beings We deal with different kinds of spirits. We deal with human spirits. We deal with angelic spirits. We deal with spirits of the earth. Spiritual beings have been here; they look after creation. Christians think it’s devils, angels, and human beings — no. The world of spirits is much bigger and greater than our little mortal world. 7. Fallen Ones and Their Alignment When Satan was kicked out, he took a third of the stars. People misunderstand this; they think Satan took the angels that were under his rank. It is a figure of speech. Satan lied to them; he was a liar from the beginning. Those who aligned themselves with him are the ones mentioned. Some spirits co-rule with him — partners in their failed revolution. This is where the term princes of hell came from. 8. Beelzebub — Prince of the Devils But when the Pharisees heard it, they said this fellow does not cast out devils but by Beelzebub, the prince of the devils. There is a guy called Beelzebub who is called the prince of the devils. Beelzebub controls a certain regiment. Satan and Beelzebub are not the same person. The Bible calls Satan the god of this world; it does not call him a prince. If this one is called a prince, then there is a king. 9. Scriptural Logic Concerning Kingdoms Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation. If Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall his kingdom stand? If I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? 10. Distinction Between Beelzebub and Baal Baal means lord. Beelzebub means lord of the fly — not flies — but fly. Baal was worshipped; Beelzebub was consulted. These are not the same. Baal required blood; Beelzebub didn’t. Beelzebub could be summoned and consulted. 11. Invocation and the Danger of Consulting Spirits The king sent messengers: Go inquire of Beelzebub, the god of Ekron. The angel of the Lord confronted them for this. Is it because there is no God in Israel that you go to inquire of Beelzebub? God was offended. This shows Beelzebub could be spoken to. Consultation equals severe judgment. The cost is too high and not worth it. 12. Spirits That Don’t Possess Humans Beelzebub doesn’t possess people. The people who served him were not possessed by him. Possessing a human body is a limitation. The fallen ones don’t need a body. They can operate without embodying anyone. 13. Nature of Possessing Spirits The spirits that possess people drive them even against their will. People bound with pornography, alcohol, or filth are driven to do those things. When did the devil ever have sex to desire sex? Cherubim don’t procreate. The concept of attraction doesn’t exist for angelic beings. Satan has no queen. 14. Angelic Nature and Non-Procreative Beings Gabriel wasn’t thinking sexually when announcing the birth of Jesus. Angels don’t think in the categories humans think. Heaven is a melting pot of all kinds of creations God has made. Different beings exist in the realms of light. 15. Watchers and Holy Ones (Daniel 4) A watcher and a holy one came down from heaven. Two angelic natures were described. Watchers procreate; holy ones don’t. The term sons of God in Genesis 6 was applied to watchers. 16. Genesis 6 and Hybrid Offspring The sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair. They took wives of all which they chose. Their children became mighty men of old. These were giants and abominations. Violence filled the earth. All flesh had corrupted its ways. 17. Genetic Corruption of Creation There were giants before and after the flood. There were lion-like men. Animals had been genetically modified. God preserved pure breeds in the ark. Bestiality originated from fallen knowledge. 18. Earth Spirits and Dwarf Beings In the Congo forest, dwarf spirits exist. Their feet face backwards. They are spirits of the forest. They have families and children. Satan corrupted many spirits dwelling in the earth. 19. Weapons of Warfare Differ Our weapons of warfare — not weapon — meaning multiple tools exist. Each kind of diabolical spirit requires a specific tool. This kind refers to different types of spirits. 20. The Core Operation of Beelzebub This spirit wants to be consulted. The primary manifestation is the desire to know the future apart from God. Instead of hungering for the mind of God, people hunger for information. It takes advantage of anxiety about the future. 21. Seducing Spirits and Doctrines of Devils In the latter times some shall depart from the faith. Giving heed to seducing spirits. Doctrines of devils. Seducing spirits entice and hypnotize. Devils give doctrine because they are fallen ones. 22. Signs of Beelzebub’s Influence Desire to know the future apart from God. Envy. Gluttony — no restraint, no satisfaction. Greed. Pride — esteeming yourself better than others. Laziness — wanting results without diligence. Quick fixes without spiritual maturity. 23. Proper Posture in Prayer and Discernment Prayer is not in much speaking. There is no power in prayer; the power is in God who answers prayer. Don’t be like the heathen who think much speaking will cause them to be heard. Learn to interact with God. Speak to God from the heart before moving into tongues. Tongues edify, but purity of communication matters. 24. Warning Against Consulting Demons Through Manifestations Many have built doctrines from consulting demons during deliverance. This results in false teachings. The source of information is not demons — the Holy Spirit gives truth. Manifestations can deceive if not discerned properly. 25. Maturity in Receiving From God There is a process to hearing, interpreting, and understanding God’s voice. Desire to know must not surpass desire to know God. Accuracy comes from humility, diligence, and consistency. God desires to reveal His mind, but in His way and pace. Daniel 4:10 Thus were the visions of mine head in my bed; I saw, and behold a tree in the midst of the earth, and the height thereof was great. Daniel 4:11 The tree grew, and was strong, and the height thereof reached unto heaven, and the sight thereof to the end of all the earth: Daniel 4:12 The leaves thereof were fair, and the fruit thereof much, and in it was meat for all: the beasts of the field had shadow under it, and the fowls of the heaven dwelt in the boughs thereof, and all flesh was fed of it. Daniel 4:13 I saw in the visions of my head upon my bed, and, behold, a watcher and an holy one came down from heaven; Daniel 4:14 He cried aloud, and said thus, Hew down the tree, and cut off his branches, shake off his leaves, and scatter his fruit: let the beasts get away from under it, and the fowls from his branches. Father, we thank you for the instruction that has gone forth. And we just ask, God, that our capacity would increase, that you would give us your spirit of wisdom and spiritual understanding, that we would not miss the word that you are delivering to us, that we would not miss the growth that you have brought to us, and we would not miss that it is by your word that we can move and live in the freedom that you have given us. God, we bless you. We bless you. We bless you. I pray, oh God, for each and every person that will be listening, that the word that they receive will be the word that is needed to transform their lives and to bring about your intention and purpose for them. • Altar vs Altar

The true battleground of the spirit is never only in actions, events, or circumstances. It is always between altars — places where spiritual transactions, covenants, and declarations are made. This teaching unveils the reality of altars, the conflict between opposing altars, and the responsibility of the believer to know which altar empowers and speaks for them. These study notes are based on the sermon “Altar vs Altar,”  preached by Dr. Lovy L. Elias . 1. What an Altar Truly Is An altar is a place of exchange. An altar is where the spiritual meets the natural. An altar is where covenants are enforced. An altar is a meeting point between two realms. Every altar has a voice, and every altar speaks. 2. Every Life Operates Under an Altar Whether you know it or not, you are functioning under an altar. No one lives without an altar influencing them. An altar is what empowers a person. Your life reveals the altar that is backing you. 3. Two Altars Cannot Back You at the Same Time You cannot have two altars speaking for you. You cannot mix altars and expect clarity. The altar you submit to is the altar that manifests in your life. Double altars create double voices, and confusion follows. 4. Altars Are Not Physical First — They Are Spiritual An altar is not first a physical place; it is spiritual before it is physical. Many people think altars are objects, but the spiritual reality is deeper. The physical structure only represents the spiritual foundation behind it. The power of an altar is in the spirit behind it. 5. Altars Carry Voices Every altar has a voice. Altars speak blessings or curses. Altars speak life or destruction. Altars speak destiny or deviation. The voice of an altar can speak long after the builder is gone. 6. Altars Demand Sacrifice Every altar demands sacrifice. Sacrifice is what fuels an altar. Without sacrifice, an altar is silent. Your sacrifice determines the strength of the altar backing you. 7. The First Battle in Scripture Was Altar vs Altar Cain and Abel were not fighting each other; it was altar against altar. God responded to Abel’s altar because his sacrifice was accepted. Cain’s altar had no voice because his sacrifice had no weight. The fight started because altars spoke different things. 8. God Responds to Altars, Not Emotions God responds to altars, not emotions. God responds to sacrifices, not complaints. Many pray, but nothing moves because the altar behind the prayer is weak. Powerful altars move heaven. 9. The Altar You Build Determines the God You Encounter Your altar reveals your revelation of God. If your altar is casual, your encounters will be casual. If your altar is deep, your encounters will be deep. Your altar shows how much of God you truly want. 10. The Stronger Altar Always Overrules the Weaker One When altars clash, the stronger one wins. The altar with greater sacrifice speaks louder. The altar with greater obedience prevails. Victory is determined by whose altar has more weight in the spirit. 11. Power Behind an Altar Determines Its Influence An altar is only as strong as the power behind it. The source of the altar determines the manifestation. An altar built unto God carries God’s voice. An altar built unto darkness carries the voice of darkness. 12. Altars Are Activated by Consistency An altar gains strength through consistency. What you do repeatedly empowers the altar you submit to. Consistency in prayer strengthens an altar. Consistency in disobedience strengthens another altar. 13. Every Family Has an Altar Every family has an altar speaking over it. Some altars were built generations ago. Some altars still demand outcomes in the present. What you see repeating in a family often comes from an ancestral altar. 14. Altars Shape Patterns Patterns reveal altars. Cycles reveal altars. Repetitions reveal altars. If something keeps happening in a lineage, an altar is behind it. 15. Not All Altars Are Visible Some altars are hidden but active. Some altars were built through words. Some altars were built through actions. Some altars were built through agreements and covenants. 16. An Altar Must Be Challenged by Another Altar You do not break an altar by shouting; you break it by raising a stronger altar. Altars confront altars. When a greater altar rises, the weaker one collapses. Victory always belongs to the altar with superior weight. 17. The Altar of God Speaks Through Obedience Obedience is a sacrifice that fuels the altar of God. Obedience carries spiritual weight. Obedience amplifies the voice of your altar. God responds to obedience because it reveals alignment. 18. Disobedience Feeds the Wrong Altar Disobedience is a sacrifice too. Disobedience empowers the altar of rebellion. Every act of disobedience strengthens an opposing altar. This is why disobedience carries consequences that manifest spiritually. 19. Words Build Altars Your words become sacrifices. Your words can raise altars without you realizing it. Every declaration strengthens a spiritual structure. This is why careless speaking is dangerous. 20. Actions Build Altars What you practice consistently becomes a spiritual sacrifice. Habits become altars. Daily choices become altars. Your lifestyle reveals what altar you have built. 21. Altars Demand Maintenance Altars must be maintained. You cannot build an altar and leave it unattended. Neglect weakens an altar. Maintenance is done through sacrifice, prayer, and obedience. 22. Some Altars Are Inherited You can inherit an altar without choosing it. Family altars influence descendants automatically. Inherited altars can either bless or limit. A believer must identify inherited altars and confront them. 23. You Cannot Destroy an Altar You Don’t Identify Identification precedes confrontation. You cannot fight what you don’t understand. Discernment reveals the altar speaking over your life. Light exposes what altar is operating. 24. A Strong Altar Attracts Divine Backing God backs strong altars. Heaven responds to consistent sacrifice. Angelic activity increases where altars are established unto God. The supernatural flows where altars have weight. 25. Sacrifice Determines the Volume of an Altar’s Voice The altar with the greater sacrifice speaks louder. The altar with the greater sacrifice gains dominance. Sacrifice is proof of value. Heaven and hell both recognize sacrifice. 26. Cain’s Altar Failed Because It Lacked Weight Cain brought something, but it had no weight. Abel brought something that cost him. Weight is spiritual value. God responds to what carries weight in the spirit. 27. God Looks at the Sacrifice Before the Worshipper God checks the offering first. The sacrifice reveals the heart of the giver. The sacrifice reveals the intention of the giver. The sacrifice reveals whether the altar will speak or remain silent. 28. Broken Altars Must Be Rebuilt Some altars have been broken through neglect. Some altars collapsed through compromise. Some altars fell through disobedience. To restore your spiritual authority, rebuild your altar. 29. A Rebuilt Altar Brings Restoration Restoration follows when the altar is restored. The voice of God becomes clear again. Your spiritual footing becomes firm again. Your environment shifts because the altar has been re-established. 30. Every Altar Has a Priest An altar cannot function without a priest. A priest services the altar. A priest keeps the altar active. A priest stands between realms for the sake of the altar. 31. You Are the Priest of Your Altar God made every believer a priest. You are responsible for the altar you build. You are responsible for what speaks over your life. No one services your altar but you. 32. Priesthood Requires Awareness You cannot be a priest without awareness. You must know what you are maintaining. You must know what you are feeding. You must know what you are aligning with. 33. Priests Guard the Altars They Service A priest guards the altar. A priest protects the sacrifice. A priest ensures the altar is not contaminated. A priest keeps the altar pure. 34. Altars Are Contaminated Through Compromise Compromise weakens an altar. Compromise brings foreign influence. Compromise changes the voice of an altar. Compromise disconnects the altar from its true source. 35. Purity Restores the Voice of an Altar Purity cleans the altar. Purity restores alignment. Purity restores the authority of the altar. Purity allows the altar to speak clearly again. 36. Fire Is What Activates an Altar Fire activates an altar. Without fire, an altar is only a structure. Fire is the spiritual energy that ignites sacrifice. Fire is what makes an altar functional. 37. God’s Fire Confirms His Altar God answers by fire. Fire is God’s response to a true altar. Fire validates alignment with heaven. Where there is divine fire, there is divine approval. 38. Strange Fire Weakens an Altar Strange fire contaminates the altar. Strange fire invites judgment. Strange fire reveals disobedience. God rejects altars fueled by strange fire. 39. Elijah’s Battle Was Altar vs Altar Elijah confronted altars, not people. The prophets of Baal built an altar. Elijah built an altar. The true battle was between altars and the fire behind them. 40. Superiority of an Altar Is Proven by Fire The altar that carries true fire will prevail. The altar that carries true fire will be answered. Fire exposes false altars. Fire vindicates true altars. 41. Your Environment Reveals the Altars Standing What is happening around you reveals the altar speaking. Environments shift based on the altars present. Where a godly altar stands, there is clarity and peace. Where a corrupt altar stands, there is confusion and instability. 42. You Must Tear Down Corrupt Altars You cannot leave corrupt altars standing. Corrupt altars must be torn down intentionally. Corrupt altars resist your progress. Corrupt altars produce spiritual interference. 43. Tearing Down Altars Requires Authority Authority is needed to confront altars. Authority is given to those aligned with God. Authority gives you power to dismantle what opposes you. Authority is what silences the voice of foreign altars. 44. God Gives Instructions Before Rebuilding Altars God gives specific instructions for rebuilding. He reveals the design of the altar. He reveals the sacrifices required. He reveals the purpose of the altar being rebuilt. 45. Altars Must Be Built According to God’s Pattern Altars built according to God’s pattern carry His presence. A misplaced pattern disrupts alignment. The pattern reveals the mind of God. Following the pattern sustains the altar. 46. The Altar Determines the Flow of the Spirit The Spirit flows through altars. A strong altar gives the Spirit room to move. A neglected altar limits the movement of the Spirit. Revival is sustained through altars. 47. Spiritual Battles Are Between Altars Battles are altar against altar. Warfare manifests according to altars. Victory is determined in the realm of altars. You conquer by raising a superior altar. 48. The Altars of Darkness Use Consistency Dark altars are empowered through consistent rituals. Consistency is what gives them power. Evil altars do not rest in their maintenance. This is why they influence entire regions. 49. Believers Must Match and Surpass That Consistency Believers must be consistent in maintaining their altars. You cannot be casual while darkness is consistent. Strength comes through sustained sacrifice. Dominion comes through consistent obedience. 50. • The Deceptions About Seeds & Seeding

Understanding God’s Law of Giving Beyond Manipulation, Misuse, and Misinterpretation The subject of seeds and giving is one of the most misunderstood principles in the body of Christ. Many believers have been wounded, manipulated, confused, or misled because they were taught incomplete, unbalanced, or unbiblical versions of sowing. Yet at the same time, God Himself established the principle of the seed — long before churches, offerings, or preachers. This message exposes deception, clarifies truth, and restores the spiritual foundation of giving as God intended. This study is based on the sermon “The Deceptions About Seeds & Seeding”  delivered by Prophet Lovy Elias  on 19 October 2022. STUDY NOTES 1. God’s Original Purpose for Seeds “As long as the earth remains, seedtime and harvest shall not cease.” Seed was created before tithing, before church, before Israel, before Abraham — it is a spiritual law woven into creation. A seed is anything released to initiate a divine cycle: money, time, honor, obedience, sacrifice. Seed is not a church invention. Seed is a God invention. People misunderstand seeds because they think it is a financial tool, but it is a spiritual principle. 2. The First Deception — Seed Is Money Only Many think a seed is “money you give so God will bless you.” Money is only a form  of seed; it is not the definition  of seed. The first seed in Scripture was the Word , not money. Seed = something capable of producing after its kind. God does not limit seed to currency; people do. 3. The Second Deception — Seed Buys Miracles “You cannot buy God.” Giving does not make God perform for you. Sowing without obedience is bribery, not spirituality. Blessings do not respond to manipulation. God responds to faith and obedience, not transaction. 4. The Nature of Deception About Seeding Deception exists because people want shortcuts. They want harvest without character, sacrifice, or spiritual growth. People want money to replace obedience. Deception grows when people think giving is magic. God does not bless shortcuts; God blesses alignment. 5. Seed Responds to Obedience, Not Emotion The most dangerous giving is emotional giving. Emotion produces temporary movement but no spiritual root. A seed must be commanded, not assumed. God never asked Abraham for Isaac emotionally — it was a command. “A seed must always be tied to instruction.” 6. Cain and Abel — Revelation Determines Acceptance Both gave. One was accepted; the other was rejected. “It was not the amount — it was the revelation behind the gift.” Abel gave by revelation; Cain gave by assumption. Wrong revelation produces wrong giving. 7. Seed Without Revelation Is Empty Your seed reveals your revelation of God. If the revelation is shallow, the seed is shallow. People give because others are giving — that is not revelation. Giving from peer pressure carries no spiritual weight. Seed must be a response to what God has revealed. 8. Seed and Heart Posture “Where your treasure is, your heart will be also.” Seed reveals heart posture more than it reveals generosity. God does not measure the size of the gift but the depth of obedience. Some seeds are large but empty. Some seeds are small but full of faith. 9. Abraham — Seed that Speaks Obedience Abraham’s offering of Isaac was not money but obedience. Obedience is the highest form of seed. Abraham gave what God asked, not what he preferred. A seed must cost something to carry spiritual meaning. “When God asks for a seed, He is asking for alignment.” 10. The Law of Sacrifice and the Law of Seed Are Connected Seed expresses obedience; sacrifice expresses value. Sacrifice = giving what costs you. Seed without sacrifice is donation, not spirituality. When sacrifice meets instruction, the supernatural opens. The greatest blessings in Scripture followed sacrifice. 11. Isaac — Sowing in Hard Ground Isaac sowed in famine. Famine ground obeyed him because God instructed the seed. A seed obeys the voice of God, not the condition of the ground. “Good seed in bad ground is better than bad seed in good ground.” Multiplication follows obedience, not environment. 12. Jacob — Seed Connected to Vow Jacob vowed a vow before sowing. “If You bring me back safely… all that You give me I will give a tenth.” Jacob’s seed was covenantal. Covenant seeds speak for generations. A seed can create destiny alignment. 13. Seeds Carry Voices Abel’s blood spoke. Sacrifices speak. Seeds testify before God. A seed is a witness in the spirit. A seed can speak mercy, breakthrough, remembrance, or judgment. 14. Many Harvests Fail Because the Seed Had No Assignment A seed must be designated. People sow without knowing the purpose of the seed. “A seed with no assignment cannot produce.” Seed is not random money; it is targeted obedience. Your seed must know where it is going. 15. You Cannot Sow Into Every Ground Not all ground is ordained for you. Wrong ground produces spiritual loss. People sow into charisma, not spirit. Seed should be planted into: revelation obedience divine instruction spiritual covering “Ground matters as much as seed.” 16. Seed in Wrong Ground Becomes a Complaint Before God God rejects seeds sown outside His instruction. Wrong giving attracts frustration. People blame God, but the seed was never commanded. God cannot bless what He did not ask for. Obedience determines acceptance. 17. Seed Is Not a Formula There is no “give 100 and get 1000.” Seed is not mathematics. Spiritual laws are not formulas; they are relationships. God honors faith, not transactions. “Your seed does not manipulate the spirit; the spirit interprets your seed.” 18. Why Manipulation Exists in Giving Manipulation works because believers do not read Scripture. People respond to emotion more than revelation. Manipulation thrives where people refuse spiritual maturity. Churches misuse giving because believers want quick miracles. Seed must be separated from manipulation. 19. Prophetic Instruction and Seeding Prophetic instruction is not manipulation; it is revelation. Many confuse prophetic instruction with financial pressure. Prophets speak by revelation, not by emotion. When God speaks through a prophet, the seed is divine instruction. “When instruction is divine, the harvest is guaranteed.” 20. Why Some People Sow but Never Harvest Wrong ground. Wrong revelation. Wrong motive. Wrong timing. Wrong instruction. Seeds must align with divine order. 21. Seeds Activate Grace “Every grace has a seed.” Seed activates what you honor. Honor is a seed that unlocks access. Grace flows where honor flows. Seed is not payment; it is alignment with grace. 22. Seeds Reveal Value People give most to what they value most. “Your seed reveals who you are spiritually.” What you withhold reveals your priorities. Seed exposes attachment. God uses seed to test value. 23. Seed Is an Expression of Faith Faith without works is dead. Seed is a physical expression of internal belief. Giving without faith is tradition. Faith energizes your seed. Seed reveals faith level. 24. Seed Timing Matters Not all seeds are for now. Some seeds are seasonal. A premature seed produces premature harvest. Timing multiplies impact. God reveals timing as part of instruction. 25. Seed Protects Destiny Sacrifice protects prophetic destiny. Abraham’s seed protected Isaac’s future. Solomon’s seed protected his kingdom. Sacrifice extends spiritual covering. Seed is a defense mechanism. 26. Seed Breaks Cycles Seed breaks stagnation. Seed breaks delay. Seed breaks barrenness. Seed breaks cycles of poverty. Seed breaks generational patterns. 27. Seed Must Be Planted with Understanding Understanding gives seed direction. Seed without understanding is ritual. God responds to understanding. Understanding produces maturity. Misunderstood seed remains unfruitful. 28. Seed and Spiritual Ranking Some harvests only appear when you outrank what resists you. Spiritual rank governs spiritual outcomes. Higher rank = greater harvest management. Seed interacts with rank. Immaturity cannot handle harvest. 29. Never Give Out of Fear Fear-driven seeds are rejected. Fear is not faith. Fear opens spiritual doors to bondage. Fear-based giving produces frustration. Seed must be sown in peace. 30. Giving Is Always Voluntary God does not force giving. Giving is worship, not obligation. Forced giving destroys joy. Voluntary giving fuels spiritual connection. God loves a cheerful giver — not a pressured giver. 31. Seed, Honor, and Covering “Where you feed is where you sow.” Seed honors the source of spiritual nourishment. Honor sustains covering. Seed validates relationship. Covering protects the seed. 32. Seed Produces After Its Kind Financial seed → financial harvest. Honor seed → honor harvest. Service seed → service harvest. Sacrifice seed → supernatural harvest. Seed always reproduces what it is. 33. Seed and Divine Memory God remembers seeds. Seeds write testimony in heaven. Cornelius’ seed came up before God. Seed becomes spiritual memorial. Memorial seeds provoke visitation. 34. The Most Dangerous Deception — “I Can Give Anything” Not everything God accepts. Seed must match the level of revelation. Cain gave “something” — and God rejected it. God does not accept everything offered. Seed must align with God’s requirement. 35. Seed Is About God, Not About Money Seed reveals trust in God. Seed reveals submission. Seed reveals spiritual maturity. Seed reveals revelation. Seed is a God conversation, not a money conversation. Scripture References (KJV) Genesis 8:22 Genesis 4:1–7 Genesis 22 Genesis 26:12 Genesis 28:20–22 Hebrews 11:4 1 Kings 3:3–15 2 Corinthians 9:6–7 Acts 10:1–4 Galatians 6:7 Prayers “Lord, give me understanding about seed.” “Remove deception from my heart.” “Teach me to give by revelation.” “Align my heart with Your instruction.” Golden Nuggets “Seed was God’s idea, not man’s idea.” “Seed is not money; money is only one form of seed.” “You cannot buy God with a seed.” “Revelation determines whether God accepts your seed.” “A seed must be tied to instruction.” “Good seed in bad ground is better than bad seed in good ground.” “A seed without an assignment cannot produce.” “You cannot sow into every ground.” “Seed does not manipulate God; it aligns you with Him.” “Honor is a seed that unlocks grace.” “Seed reveals what you value.” “Faith gives power to your seed.” “Seed protects destiny.” “Seeds break cycles.” “God remembers seeds.” “Not everything you give is accepted by God.” “Seed is a conversation with God.” “Sacrifice speaks louder than prayer.” “A seed is a witness in the spirit.” “Seed is obedience wrapped in worship.”

  • Spirit of Heaviness

Understanding the Silent Atmosphere That Weighs Down Souls and Opens the Door to Depression There is a spiritual weight that does not possess a person but surrounds them, presses on them, and alters how they see themselves, their future, and even God. This teaching exposes the nature of the spirit of heaviness—how it operates, how it influences atmosphere, how it enters Zion, how it drove even great prophets into despair, and how praise becomes the weapon that breaks its influence. This study is based on the sermon “Spirit of Heaviness”  delivered by Prophet Lovy Elias  on 15 September 2023. Study Notes 1. Spiritual Ignorance Gives the Enemy Advantage “Do not be ignorant of Satan’s devices.” The devil destroys believers not because he is more powerful, but because he knows things believers do not know. Lack of knowledge causes the church to carry a form of godliness but lack power. Understanding spiritual things gives believers an advantage in spiritual battles. There are mysteries in the spirit that the enemy understands and uses. Some attacks happen not because the believer is weak, but because they cannot see the devices being used against them. 2. Not All Demonic Spirits Are the Same Demonic forces operate in rankings: strong men evil spirits devils unclean spirits Fallen ones control regions. They govern territories and command lesser spirits. Some spirits require a body to carry out their will. Entry points include: sin trauma accidents emotional breaks “If God would not keep us, we would be destroyed.” 3. The Spirit of Heaviness Is Unique and Dangerous One particular spirit has permission  to influence those in Zion. This spirit: does not possess does not enter operates through atmosphere “He is a silent killer.” He clouds an atmosphere around a person and causes them to act in ways they normally would not. “He will be the cause that other spirits will enter.” 4. Controlling Atmospheres Is a Spiritual Skill Some believers cannot subdue atmospheres. Spiritual authority includes: shifting environments breaking heaviness enforcing divine atmosphere There is prayer, and then there is capacity : the ability to dominate a space spiritually the ability to change atmosphere regardless of location “You grow in grace. The level you start with is not the level you remain in.” 5. Understanding Isaiah 61: The Spirit Allowed in Zion (Isaiah 61:1–3 quoted in full in the transcript.) Beauty for ashes → emotions Oil of joy for mourning → soul Garment of praise → spirit The only spirit mentioned as affecting those in Zion: the spirit of heaviness . “How can I be heavy when I am in Zion?” Because heaviness is not possession; it is atmospheric pressure . 6. Spiritual Garments and Ranking In the spirit, garments represent rank. Higher rank → different garment. Example: Transfiguration — Jesus’ garment changed because of spiritual company (Moses and Elijah). “There are spirits you can only overcome based on ranking, not prayer.” Some battles repeat because the believer has not outranked the spirit. 7. When Heaviness Enters the Atmosphere Heaviness creates: “one of those days” anxiety stress feelings that things will never get better Heaviness magnifies negativity. It places gloom where hope used to be. Even great prophets were affected: Elijah became suicidal after one threat Moses begged for death under pressure 8. Elijah Under Heaviness (1 Kings 19) (1 Kings 19:1–4 referenced and quoted.) Elijah killed a thousand prophets. Elijah called fire from heaven. Elijah walked with angels. Elijah controlled weather by prophecy. Yet one threat from Jezebel pushed him into: fleeing isolating himself suicidal thoughts praying to die saying, “It is enough.” “Whenever you begin to think this is too much for me, the spirit of heaviness has attacked you.” 9. Moses Under Heaviness (Numbers 11) (Numbers 11:10–15 quoted and explained.) Moses complains: “Why have You afflicted Your servant?” “Why am I carrying these people?” “Am I their father?” “Where will I get flesh to give them?” “It is too heavy for me.” Moses prays: “Kill me.” Complaint is a doorway for heaviness. 10. Heaviness and Jesus in Gethsemane (Luke 22) (Luke 22:41–43 referenced.) Jesus sweats blood. Jesus asks, “Let this cup pass from me.” This was heaviness pressing on flesh. Angels strengthened Him. “Your flesh has weaknesses, and the spirit of heaviness knows this.” 11. Heaviness Opens the Door to Depression Depression is empowered by heaviness. Medication numbs but does not cure heaviness. “If heaviness is not driven away, depression is not going anywhere.” Signs heaviness is active: desire to sit in darkness loss of glow seeking sympathy over encouragement inability to pray inability to see anything good numbness loss of spiritual motion 12. Heaviness Is an Atmosphere Spirit Some regions, homes, and places carry heaviness. It lifts when leaving the location and returns when entering again. Worship music alone does not remove it. Believers must develop: atmospheric dominance ability to cleanse their environment strength to keep heaviness out 13. Praise Is the Only Garment That Breaks Heaviness Worship interacts with God. Praise interacts with what God has done and will do. Praise: opens the womb of destiny enforces joy breaks heaviness brings God into the atmosphere shifts focus from pain to God’s goodness is a spiritual weapon heavier than heaviness “Praise is prophetic. It crushes heaviness because God enthrones the praises of His people.” 14. The Spirit of Heaviness Wants You Still Spirits desire: stillness stagnation paralysis People who are alive are in motion. Heaviness makes people settle into death-like states. 15. Complaining and Agreement with Heaviness Complaining aligns with heaviness. Heaviness grows where believers: generalize pain elevate negativity assume failure accept doom declare limitation “Everyone betrays me.” “Nothing works for me.” “I’ve done everything.” These are heaviness-induced distortions. 16. Praise Restores Sight and Breaks the Trap “Your praise is a measure of your trust.” Believers must: remember God’s goodness rehearse His works declare His nature remain optimistic refuse the narrative of doom The spirit of heaviness is broken by: prophetic praise trust remembrance atmosphere cleansing refusal to agree with gloom Scripture References (KJV) Isaiah 61:1–3 1 Kings 19:1–4 Numbers 11:10–15 Luke 22:41–43 Psalm 23:4 Psalm 27:13  (“I will see the goodness of God in the land of the living.”) Prayers Declaration 1 “Father, help me to see Your goodness again.” Declaration 2 “Forgive me for forgetting Your goodness.” Declaration 3 “Help me to praise You beyond what I understand.” Golden Nuggets “The devil is powerful because he knows things you do not know.” “The spirit of heaviness is a silent killer.” “There are spirits you can only overcome based on ranking, not prayer.” “Heaviness magnifies whatever is negative in your life.” “Complaining opens the door to the spirit of heaviness.” “Praise is heavier than heaviness.” “Your praise is a measure of your trust.” “Heaviness wants you to settle so you can die.” “The spirit of heaviness opens the door to depression.” “Atmospheres must be subdued.” “Heaviness is not possession; it is atmospheric pressure.” “People who are alive are in motion.” “Heaviness makes you see doom where there should be hope.” “Praise enthrones God in your atmosphere.” “When heaviness comes, the strength to pray disappears first.” “Remembering God’s goodness breaks the trap.” “Even great prophets were attacked by heaviness.” “Heaviness clouds perception and distorts reality.” “Trust is the foundation of praise.” “The spirit of heaviness dwells in places; believers must subdue the atmosphere.”

  • Power In Words

How Spoken Words Shape Reality, Unlock Mysteries, and Reveal Spiritual Maturity Every realm responds to words. Creation began with speech, destinies shift through utterance, and the spiritual realm moves when words are released with understanding. This message exposes the true nature of words—how they create, how they carry power, how they reveal authority, and how spiritual people must speak from divine consciousness rather than emotion or habit. These notes preserve the full flow of the teaching as delivered. This study is based on the sermon “Power In Words” delivered by Prophet Lovy Elias on 3 March 2025. Study Notes 1. Establishment In God Determines the Power of Words Words do not carry power simply because they are spoken; words carry power based on who is speaking  and what realm they are established in . Established people speak with weight. Spiritual authority is not volume — it is rootedness. Samuel’s words did not fall to the ground because Samuel was established. Words become empty when the person speaking lacks spiritual establishment. A person who is unstable in spirit will produce unstable speech. 2. Words Are Carriers of Spirit Words carry spirit. Words are containers that hold: revelation power emotion intent life or death The mouth is a gate for spirit expression. When a person speaks, their spirit is transmitted. “The words that I speak unto you, they are spirit and they are life.” 3. Positive Words vs Spiritual Words Positive words are not equal to spiritual words. Positive words encourage emotions, but spiritual words shift realms. A person can speak positive words from the soul, but spiritual words originate from God. Spiritual maturity determines whether words carry: life transformation power divine substance Many believers speak positively but not spiritually. 4. Speaking Without Understanding Weakens Words Words lose power when spoken without understanding. Echoing what others say, without revelation, produces empty results. Repetition without understanding becomes noise. Authority comes when words come from depth. Understanding energizes speech. 5. Logos vs Rhema Logos is the general word of God. Rhema is the specific word spoken by the Spirit. Rhema manifests when: the Spirit breathes on speech revelation meets expression heaven confirms what is spoken Logos informs, but Rhema transforms. Transformation requires words carried by the Spirit. 6. Tongues, Mysteries, and Interpretation Tongues release mysteries. Mysteries are divine information encoded in spiritual language. Without interpretation, mysteries do not benefit the mind. Interpretation unveils meaning. Prophecy interprets. Prophecy is the unveiling of mysteries. Interpretation of tongues requires: discernment revelation spiritual alignment 7. Prophecy and the Weight of Words Prophecy is not prediction — prophecy is divine utterance. Prophecy carries weight when spoken from divine establishment. Prophecy requires: clarity precision spiritual grounding Words spoken in prophecy must align with God’s intent. Prophecy fails when spoken from the soul instead of the spirit. 8. Words Create Atmospheres Words create environments. Atmospheres shift when words filled with spirit are released. Negative speech invites negative atmospheres. Spiritual speech establishes spiritual atmospheres. The invisible world responds to what a person speaks. 9. Emotional Speaking Produces Weak Results Emotional speaking lacks spiritual authority. Words spoken from frustration, fear, or anger carry no power. Effective speech requires: calmness clarity spiritual grounding Emotion contaminates authority. 10. The Mature Speak From Spirit, Not From Soul Spiritual maturity is revealed in speech. The mature speak from: revelation stillness divine awareness The soul reacts, but the spirit reveals. Speaking from spirit releases power; speaking from soul releases instability. 11. Creative Power Through Speech The first act of God in creation was speech. Speech brings form out of formlessness. Words frame reality. Spiritual people create with words because they partner with God’s creative nature. Speaking without doubt produces manifestation. 12. Authority Increases When Speech Aligns With Identity A person’s identity determines the authority behind their speech. When a believer knows who they are in God, their words carry weight. Speech reveals identity. Authority is evident in words because identity is evident in the spirit. 13. Silence As Power Silence is a form of speech. Choosing when not to speak demonstrates maturity. Silence can: protect preserve redirect dismantle the enemy prepare the spirit Maturity is knowing when  to speak and when not  to speak. 14. Faith Gives Words Power Words require faith to come alive. Faith is the substance that energizes speech. A person may speak correctly, but without faith the words remain empty. Faith activates spiritual reality. Unbelief neutralizes speech. 15. Speaking With Intention, Not Assumption Words must be intentional. Speaking randomly produces random results. God does nothing without intention in His speech. Likewise, spiritual people must speak purposefully. Intention aligns speech with spiritual authority. 16. Words Reveal the Condition of the Heart Speech exposes the internal state. Words spoken frequently reveal: wounds maturity faith fear identity The mouth reveals what the heart hides. Words diagnose spiritual condition. 17. Words As Seeds Words are seeds planted in the atmosphere. Seeds grow according to the nature of the word. Negative seeds produce negative harvests. Spiritual seeds produce spiritual harvests. People live in the harvest of yesterday’s words. 18. Agreement Activates Speech Agreement gives words additional power. When two people agree spiritually, their words multiply in effect. Heaven responds to alignment. Agreement creates momentum in the spirit. Words spoken alone carry power; words spoken in agreement carry multiplied power. 19. The Spirit-Backed Word The Spirit confirms the Word. Speech backed by the Spirit carries: weight authority clarity manifestation A spirit-backed word cannot return void. It accomplishes what it is sent to do. 20. Words Determine Destiny Destiny responds to speech. Words can open or close doors. People talk themselves into: opportunities losses relationships breakthroughs delays Speech sets the path a person walks. Scripture References (KJV) John 6:63 “…the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” 1 Samuel 3:19 “…the LORD was with him, and did let none of his words fall to the ground.” 1 Corinthians 14:2 “For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God… howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.” Hebrews 11:3 “…the worlds were framed by the word of God…” Proverbs 18:21 “Death and life are in the power of the tongue…” Colossians 4:6 “Let your speech be alway with grace…” Prayer Section Declaration 1 “Lord, help me speak from the spirit.” Declaration 2 “Let my words carry Your power.” Golden Nuggets “Words carry spirit.” “Positive words are not spiritual words.” “Samuel’s words did not fall because Samuel was established.” “Understanding energizes speech.” “Logos informs; Rhema transforms.” “Mysteries are encoded in tongues.” “Prophecy unveils what tongues conceal.” “Atmospheres respond to words.” “Emotion contaminates authority.” “The mature speak from spirit, not from soul.” “Speech reveals identity.” “Silence is also a language.” “Words frame reality.” “Faith gives words substance.” “Words are seeds that grow.” “Destiny responds to utterance.” “Agreement multiplies power.” “A spirit-backed word cannot return void.” “People live in the harvest of what they spoke yesterday.” “Authority increases when speech aligns with identity.”

  • Roots

Understanding Foundations, Stability, and the Invisible Structures That Shape Your Life Every life bears fruit, but the fruit always reveals the strength and condition of the roots beneath it. Before the visible changes, breakthroughs, or transformations appear, the unseen foundations determine whether a person stands, falls, or flourishes. This message exposes the spiritual laws of roots—how they form, how they influence identity, how they affect relationships, and why God focuses on the hidden parts of a person more than the visible ones. This study is based on the sermon “Roots”  delivered by Prophet Lovy Elias  on 2 August 2025. 1. Opening Perspective: Everything Begins With Roots Every human being grows based on the root system that anchors their life. Roots determine: stability longevity fruitfulness identity behavior resilience Without addressing the root of a matter, nothing truly changes. Some people are unstable not because of lack of desire, but because they have shallow roots . Storms do not destroy trees with deep roots; storms only expose trees with weak roots. God never starts with the fruit; God always starts with the root . Destiny is determined by what grows beneath the surface. 2. Fruit Reveals the Root Fruit is never random; fruit is the manifestation of the root. An orange tree can never produce apples; likewise, a bitter root can never produce sweet fruit. People often try to change the fruit (behavior) without changing the root (foundation). Every action, reaction, and pattern has a root. The root is the hidden dimension of a person: childhood experiences trauma teaching culture spiritual influence Trying to change fruit without addressing roots leads to frustration and cycles. 3. Shallow Roots and Instability A person with shallow roots: gets offended easily quits quickly is unstable in purpose struggles with consistency Shallow roots create emotional sensitivity that becomes spiritual vulnerability. The wind is not the problem; the root is the problem. The issue is not the attack; the issue is the lack of depth. A person with no depth cannot sustain success or pressure. 4. Deep Roots and Endurance Deep roots allow a person to withstand: pressure challenges betrayal delay disappointment Deep roots produce endurance. Pressure does not break people with deep roots; pressure reveals their strength. God allows pressure to grow roots deeper . Strong Christians are not built in comfort; they are built in pressure. 5. Roots and Identity Roots shape identity. A person’s true identity is not the leaves or the branches—it is the root. Many identity crises come from not knowing what is feeding the inner life. If the root is confusion, the fruit will be confusion. If the root is insecurity, the fruit will be insecurity. If the root is faith, the fruit will be faith. People often behave according to the “root voice” inside them. 6. Roots Influence Relationships People attract relationships according to their roots. A root of rejection attracts people who continue rejecting. A root of abandonment attracts instability. Relationships fail not because of compatibility but because roots are unhealthy. If the root is healed, relationship patterns change. 7. Roots and the Past Many people operate from roots in the past —old pain, old teaching, old trauma. The past becomes the soil feeding the present. God cannot plant new seeds in old soil unless the soil is transformed. Some warfare is not about demons; it is about roots planted from years ago. 8. The Danger of Bitter Roots Bitterness is not an emotion—it is a root. A bitter root: contaminates other people distorts perception poisons relationships blinds spiritual vision Bitterness produces defiled fruit regardless of a person’s outward behavior. When bitterness takes root, everything becomes interpreted through pain. 9. The Invisible Growth Process Roots grow downward before branches grow upward. God grows a person in the unseen realm before revealing them in the seen realm. People see the fruit but do not see the years spent developing the root. Promotion is always preceded by hidden preparation. Visibility is always preceded by invisibility. 10. God Focuses on Roots, Not Appearances God does not judge by what is on the surface; God judges by the root. God invests more in the hidden part of a person than the public part. When God wants to use someone, He goes after the root: healing deliverance restoration foundation repair If God does not fix the root, the fruit will corrupt the assignment. 11. Deliverance Is Root Work Deliverance is not just casting out demons—it is uprooting what demons feed on. Demons attach themselves to: unhealed roots broken foundations open wounds inherited patterns True deliverance requires: exposing roots confronting roots replacing roots healing roots If the root is not changed, the spirit will return. 12. Good Soil and Spiritual Growth Soil represents the environment of the heart. The same seed produces different outcomes depending on soil quality. The issue is not the seed—it is the soil. Some people remain unfruitful not because they lack gifting but because the soil of their heart is not healed. When soil is healed, seeds flourish. 13. God Plants People, Not Just Blessings God plants people in environments that feed them spiritually. Growth happens where the root is properly placed. Some people uproot themselves constantly, preventing stability. Growth requires: consistency patience submission staying planted Uprooted people cannot bear fruit. 14. The Cost of Being Deeply Rooted Deep roots require sacrifice: letting go of pride releasing control embracing humility allowing pruning Pruning is painful but necessary. God removes branches—not to punish, but to strengthen root systems. A person cannot grow deep roots without surrender. Dependency on God is the water that nourishes roots. 15. Roots and Spiritual Authority Authority comes from depth, not appearance. People with deep roots carry weight in the spiritual realm. A shallow-rooted person cannot fight long battles; their authority is limited. Spiritual authority is not volume—it is depth of root. The enemy tests roots, not leaves. Storms reveal whether a person’s authority is real or cosmetic. 16. Roots and Inheritance Roots determine generational blessings. Every family carries spiritual roots—some healthy, some corrupted. A person inherits: patterns mentalities strengths weaknesses behaviors spiritual tendencies Deliverance includes addressing inherited roots. God can plant new roots to replace generational dysfunction. 17. The Process of Re-Rooting God does not improve old roots; God replaces old roots with new ones. Re-rooting involves: repentance healing new teaching new revelation new habits new environment Re-rooting is slow but produces lasting transformation. People fail when they look for instant fruit without allowing God to develop new roots. 18. Staying Planted Where God Assigns You Being planted is a command, not a suggestion. People uproot themselves due to: offense impatience boredom pride comparison A plant that keeps moving never grows. Some believers blame God for lack of fruit while uprooting themselves constantly. Stability produces maturity. 19. Being Watered by the Word The Word of God waters roots. Without consistent exposure to the Word, roots dry up. Prayer is also water. Worship is fertilizer. A believer must remain in environments that water their spiritual root system. 20. The Hiddenness of Root Seasons Root seasons are lonely. No one sees the progress because it happens underground. People misunderstand root seasons as inactivity. But in God’s system, hiddenness is evidence of preparation. God protects people by hiding them until roots are strong. 21. Fruitfulness as Proof of Root Depth Fruit appears when roots have matured. Fruit is never forced; fruit is produced naturally by depth. A person with deep roots: produces fruit consistently survives storms sustains blessing grows quietly is not easily shaken Fruit becomes visible confirmation of invisible work. 22. God Uproots to Replant Sometimes God uproots people from toxic environments. Uprooting is not punishment; it is repositioning. God uproots to: save preserve redirect protect future destiny A person must trust God during uprooting seasons. 23. Summary of Spiritual Root Principles Everything begins with roots. Every fruit reveals a root. Shallow roots create instability. Deep roots produce endurance. Bitterness is a root. Identity flows from roots. Deliverance uproots what demons feed on. Environment determines growth. God watches roots more than leaves. Fruit manifests when roots mature. Scripture References (KJV) Matthew 13:5–6 “Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth… and because they had no root, they withered away.” Hebrews 12:15 “Lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you…” Jeremiah 17:7–8 “…he shall be as a tree planted by the waters… her leaf shall be green.” Psalm 1:2–3 “…like a tree planted by the rivers of water… whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.” Colossians 2:6–7 “…rooted and built up in him…” Matthew 7:17–18 “…every good tree bringeth forth good fruit…” John 15:1–5 “I am the vine, ye are the branches…” Prayers Declaration: “Lord, deal with my roots.” Declaration: “Plant me where I can grow.” Golden Nuggets “Every fruit reveals a root.” “Shallow roots create unstable people.” “God deals with roots before He deals with fruit.” “Bitterness is a root, not a feeling.” “Deep roots survive storms.” “Your identity comes from whatever is feeding your root.” “Deliverance is root work.” “The soil of your heart determines the outcome of your seed.” “Uprooted people cannot bear fruit.” “Authority comes from depth, not appearance.” “You cannot grow if you keep uprooting yourself.” “God hides you to strengthen your roots.” “If the root is wrong, the fruit will be wrong.” “Healing begins when God exposes the root.” “Promotion follows hidden preparation.” “Real growth happens underground before it happens in public.” “Some warfare is not about demons; it is about roots planted long ago.” “A new root produces a new life.” “You cannot change fruit without changing roots.” “God plants people, not just blessings.”

  • Scents and Spirits

Understanding Spiritual Aromas, Angelic Presence, and Atmospheric Signals The spiritual realm communicates in many forms, and one of the most overlooked is scent . Throughout Scripture, God reveals Himself through fragrances, fire, incense, and perfumes—each releasing meaning, presence, and spiritual activity. These study notes follow the message closely, documenting every core idea on how scents operate in the natural and spiritual realm, how angels and demons use aroma, and how believers can discern what atmosphere is being activated around them. This study is based on the sermon “Scents and Spirits” delivered by Prophet Lovy Elias on 15 October 2020. Study Notes 1. Introduction: Why Scents Matter Spiritually Scents communicate in both the natural and spiritual world. Every scent carries meaning; every scent is a signal. God uses scents to reveal Himself, and demons use scents to manifest themselves. A scent is a language  and a messenger . Scents travel faster than sound. Scents bypass intellectual reasoning and speak directly to the soul. Smell is the only sense that cannot be blocked; there are no spiritual “earplugs” for scent. Scent is tied to memory, emotion, identity, and recognition. Angels, demons, and spiritual beings carry unique scents. The spiritual world is “perfumed”—not metaphorically, but literally. Atmospheres change through scents. 2. Scriptural Foundation: God and Fragrance In the Old Testament, God revealed Himself through aroma . Burnt sacrifices created a smell that ascended to God. God responded to the scent of sacrifice. In Revelation, incense represents prayers rising before God. Noah’s offering after the flood is highlighted: The Bible says God smelled a “sweet savor.” God made a covenant after smelling the offering. Scents and covenants are connected. God associates fragrance with remembrance, mercy, and response. 3. Human Beings Carry Spiritual Smells Every person carries a spiritual fragrance—either pleasant or unpleasant. A person's spirit gives off an aroma that reveals their state. The scent can reveal: purity sin deliverance bondage worship disobedience Angels can smell your spiritual condition. Demons also smell your condition. People can be “spiritually stinking” while appearing well in the natural. There are individuals who smell like: death destruction fear anger rejection bitterness These are not natural odors—they are spiritual fragrances. 4. Angels and Their Scents Angels have distinct scents. Some angels smell like: fresh rain flowers fire incense wind perfume Each angelic order carries unique fragrance signatures. Archangels carry strong scents that fill an entire space. When an angel enters, the atmosphere changes. Angels use scent to announce their presence. Sometimes before an angel appears, a scent comes first. 5. Demons and Their Scents Demons also have recognizable odors. Demonic scents include: sulfur rot sewage burning stagnant water foul, oppressive odors A demonic smell reveals the spirit behind it. When people manifest demonic activity, the scent in the room can change. Deliverance often exposes a demonic odor before the spirit leaves. Houses, clothes, and objects can carry spiritual smells. 6. Why Spirits Use Smell Scent is the fastest form of spiritual communication. Spirits use scent to: signal presence claim territory attract repel align warn influence moods Smell bypasses rational decision-making. Spirits use aroma to bypass logic and access the soul. Just as God uses fragrance to draw, demons use odor to manipulate. 7. Jesus and the Scent of Worship The woman with the alabaster box released worship through fragrance. The entire house was filled with the smell of the ointment. Worship has a smell in the spirit. Worship attracts divine presence. Fragrance in worship demonstrates: purity sacrifice honor brokenness before God Jesus said her act would be remembered everywhere the gospel is preached. 8. Daniel, Fasting, and Spiritual Aroma When Daniel fasted, his body was weakened, but his spirit emitted a stronger fragrance. The angel said: “From the first day you humbled yourself, your words were heard.” Humility has a smell. Fasting releases a specific aroma that heaven recognizes. 9. Elijah and the Smell of Fire Elijah’s altar produced a scent through sacrifice and fire. Angels respond to scents aligned with obedience. The fire of God carries a fragrance of purity and holiness. Fire reveals what kind of spirit is present. Divine fire smells different from strange fire. 10. Strange Fire and Wrong Fragrance Nadab and Abihu offered strange fire. Their offering produced a scent God did not accept. Wrong spiritual fragrance can provoke judgment. Not every offering smells good before God. Obedience determines aroma. 11. Cornelius and the Smell of Prayer Cornelius’ prayers and alms “rose up as a memorial before God.” Prayer has a smell. Acts of giving, when done correctly, release aroma recognized in heaven. Spiritual consistency produces fragrance. Heaven responds to the “aroma of remembrance.” 12. How to Discern with Smell A believer can be trained by the Spirit to detect: angelic presence demonic presence atmospheric shifts spiritual invitations the aroma of prayer the aroma of worship the aroma of disobedience Smell is a prophetic tool. Discernment is not guessing—it is sensing. 13. Why Scents Matter in Deliverance Deliverance exposes hidden odors. Spirits reveal themselves through smell. Certain spirits cannot hide their fragrance. Discernment through smell helps: identify the spirit identify the bondage know when the spirit is leaving know when the atmosphere is cleansed 14. Final Teaching Point Before the Sermon Shifts Scents, spirits, and atmospheres are interconnected. A believer must become sensitive to the spiritual smell of: their environment their relationships their home their clothing their worship life Everything spiritual has a fragrance that reveals its source. Scripture References (KJV) Genesis 8:20–21 “And the LORD smelled a sweet savour…” Revelation 8:3–4 “…the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God…” John 12:3 “Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard… and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment.” Daniel 10:12 (Referenced when discussing Daniel’s humility and fast.) “…from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand… thy words were heard.” Leviticus 10:1–2 (Nadab and Abihu offering strange fire.) “…which he commanded them not.” Acts 10:3–4 (Cornelius’ prayers ascending as a memorial.) “…thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God.” Psalm 141:2 “Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense…” Prayers Declaration “Lord, make me sensitive to Your presence.” Golden Nuggets “Every scent is a message.” “The spiritual world is perfumed.” “Angels announce themselves through fragrance.” “Demons cannot hide their smell.” “Your spirit carries a scent whether you like it or not.” “Worship has a smell.” “Humility releases an aroma that heaven recognizes.” “Strange fire carries a strange fragrance.” “Heaven responds to the smell of obedience.” “Prayer rises like incense before God.” “Some people look clean but smell like bitterness in the spirit.” “Fire carries a fragrance that reveals its source.” “Discernment is not guessing; it is sensing.” “Deliverance exposes hidden odors.” “Everything spiritual has a fragrance that reveals its origin.” “Some angels smell like rain; some smell like fire.” “A demonic presence will always betray itself through scent.” “Your environment carries the smell of what you entertain.” “A sacrifice has a smell, and God responds to it.” “The aroma of remembrance draws divine attention.”
