Life moves in stages. The spirit moves in dimensions.

Life on earth does not operate randomly. Everything follows stages, levels, timings, and patterns — and unless a person understands this framework, spiritual life and physical life will constantly feel mismatched. In this message, the distinctions between stages, levels, and dimensions are made clear, showing why some people rise, fall, or remain stuck even when they work hard and try to do what is right.

This article contains structured study notes based entirely on the sermon Stages, preached on 20 January 2021.

Study Notes

1. Stages, Levels, and Dimensions

“The physical world operates in stages and levels. The spiritual realm operates in dimensions.”

  • The physical realm does not operate in dimensions.

  • The spiritual realm does not operate in stages.

  • Two people can be in the same stage, but their work ethic or decisions may place them on different levels.

  • Stages and levels are reachable through effort.

  • Dimensions are not reached by effort; they are based on:

    • grace

    • commitment to Christ

    • faithfulness

    • access God grants

Key thought:

Your stage does not determine your spiritual dimension.

2. Influence Over Human Thoughts

“No one in this world is beyond influence.”

  • Thoughts are a channel of communication in the spirit.

  • Even a righteous person can be influenced: Peter was influenced by Satan while standing next to Jesus.

  • Blocking thoughts is impossible; if you block thoughts, you also block God.

  • Inspiration = the flow of thoughts pushed by God.

  • Scripture was written by divine inspiration.

  • When preaching, the speaker waits for what God will inspire, not pre-planning topics.

Important notes:

  • Good produces fruit and elevates humanity → comes from God.

  • Anything that destroys (even if it “looks” good) is not from God.

  • Not everything that looks disruptive is evil. Some discipline produces structure.

3. Why Hard Work Doesn’t Guarantee Movement

A person may do everything successful people do — wake up early, grind, work hard — but still never break into a higher stage.

Reasons:

  • Hard work improves your stage.

  • Hard work improves your level.

  • Hard work does not open a dimension.

  • A dimension dictates what can be protected, maintained, and expanded in someone’s life.

A person climbs a staircase toward a bright, circular light. The scene is enveloped in warm, glowing yellows, evoking a dreamlike mood.

Examples given:

  • Winning the lottery changes someone’s stage/level but cannot sustain them if their dimension does not support it.

  • This is why people lose everything quickly — their spiritual dimension cannot hold their physical level.

Key statements:

  • “Your spiritual dimension protects your stage and level.”

  • “If the devil strikes you, he can succeed because your level is not being protected by your spiritual dimension.”

4. Why People Hit Ceilings (Financial or Otherwise)

  • Someone may consistently earn but never break certain thresholds (tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands, millions).

  • It is not a work-ethic problem.

  • It is a dimension-capacity issue.

  • If something is outside your dimension, it comes but cannot stay.

“Everything you have ever lost and never regained is because your dimension did not match your level.”

Sometimes:

  • God gives blessings bigger than your current dimension

  • to provoke you to realize how much more you need Him

  • to push you into a higher dimension

5. Dimension Illustrated Through Job

Job 1 is used to reveal the separation between spiritual dimension and natural level.

God speaks of Job’s dimension:

  • “A perfect and upright man.”

  • “None like him in the earth.”

  • God validates Job’s spiritual placement.

Satan speaks of Job’s level:

  • The hedge of protection

  • His household

  • His possessions

  • His increase

  • Everything “on every side”

Observation:

  • God talks only about Job’s spiritual dimension.

  • Satan talks only about Job’s physical level.

  • The physical level was secure because of the spiritual dimension.

Key idea:

You can attain something but never possess it.

Possession =

  • consistency

  • muscle memory

  • ability to do something regardless of season

Job possessed his level because his dimension supported it.

6. Dimensions Sustain Even When a Person Has Fallen

  • Once someone enters a dimension, it cannot be revoked.

  • A person can mess up, and God may reject them, but their dimension may still sustain them for a time.

  • The example given:

    • Satan was a cherubim.

    • His grace was taken, but his dimension did not change.

    • He still functions in that dimension on earth.

A woman stands in golden light on cracked earth at sunset, evoking hope and resilience. Warm hues fill the serene sky.

Conclusion:

Dimension determines capacity, regardless of current righteousness.

7. Dimensions Are Accessed Only by Opportunity

“Dimensions can only be accessed by opportunity.”

  • You cannot pray your way into a dimension alone.

  • You cannot fast your way into a dimension alone.

  • God must present an opportunity, and you must seize it.

A glowing, open door is set in a cloud-filled, bright sky with rays of light emanating through. The scene conveys a mystical, serene mood.

Biblical patterns referenced:

  • Moses accessed God through Jethro, the priest.

  • Abraham entertained three men → new dimension.

  • Zacchaeus climbed a tree → access granted.

  • Joshua received impartation through Moses → that was his access point.

  • Before Jesus resurrected, no human spirit could enter heaven → the dimension changed only when Jesus opened it.

Summary bullet points:

  • Opportunity = doorway to dimension.

  • Missing the opportunity → remaining stuck.

  • Many believers pray, fast, and live right but never advance because they ignore or fail to recognize the opportunities God sends.

8. The Spirit of Adoption (Romans 8)

Key scriptures quoted in the sermon:

  • Romans 8:15–17

  • John 3:35

  • John 1:3

Main points given:

  • Every human being is born bound (spiritually).

  • Receiving Christ gives a new spirit — “a new creation.”

  • Angels are never called sons.

  • Only Jesus is “begotten,” and believers share that same spiritual nature.

  • Being a child of God makes you:

    • heir of God

    • joint-heir with Christ

    • spiritually seated in heavenly places

    • participant of “all things” the Father gave the Son

Golden crowns and scrolls float among soft clouds, with a glowing light in the background, creating a serene and majestic atmosphere.

Because people don’t know their dimension:

  • They pray below their rank.

  • They ask for a house when God says, “Ask me for the nations.”

9. Why Some ‘Good’ People Remain in Lower Dimensions

  • Many who live “right” remain in lower dimensions because dimension is not based on moral perfection.

  • David had scandals but had a high dimension.

  • Others lived clean but carried low dimensions.

  • People judge based on behavior, not dimension.

  • Some believers interpret others’ success as “evil” or “witchcraft” because they cannot explain the dimension.

10. Accessing Dimensions Through Men

Repeated patterns given:

  • Jethro → Moses

  • Abraham → Lot

  • Moses → Joshua

  • Elijah → Elisha

  • Various figures in scripture whose names carry specific dimensions

    • David → victory and sustained reign

    • Jacob/Israel → establishment and fruitfulness

    • Moses → ways where there are no ways

    • Elijah → force and fire

    • Joshua → redeemed time

    • Solomon → wisdom and peace

Watercolor art of a sling, staff, ladder, flame, and sun against a soft sky background. Warm tones create a serene, mystical vibe.

Key point:

  • No one enters a dimension without a man assigned to open that realm.

  • That is God’s pattern throughout scripture.

11. Evidence of Dimension: Sacrifice Driven by Love

“Your sacrifice is the evidence that you have crossed over.”

Examples given:

  • Woman who wiped Jesus’ feet → “because of her great love, her sins have been forgiven.”

  • Mary Magdalene → her devotion revealed her deliverance.

  • Widow who fed Elijah → access to life-preserving dimension.

  • Israel leaving Egypt with riches → evidence of deliverance.

  • Abraham’s offerings → access to covenant promises.

  • Job’s friends → had to give in order to be restored.

  • Giving in the presence of an opportunity = doorway to higher dimension.

Hands cradle a glowing light in a warm, ethereal setting. Golden hues convey a serene and uplifting mood.

Final note:

Sacrifice is not giving to “get something.”

It is responding whenever God opens a door to a higher place.
